Demonstrate a strong understanding of social media platforms like Instagram and YouTube, and tailor content accordingly. Possess an excellent sense of music, pacing, transitions, and storytelling to create impactful videos. Continuously experiment with new editing styles, trends and formats to keep our content fresh and relevant. Understand the strategic purpose behind each video, ensuring edits contribute to the overall goal. Collaborate closely with the content and creative teams to bring ideas to life. Proactively contribute ideas and solutions, rather than waiting for instructions. Requirements 1-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably within a digital marketing agency or similar fast-paced environment. Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools. Strong understanding of short-form content creation and current social media trends. A highly creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to effectively receive and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement. Most importantly, the ability to think critically and go beyond the initial brief to deliver exceptional results.
