As our ecosystem partnerships continue to expand, we are looking to onboard a Venture Analyst to support venture screening, startup evaluation, ecosystem engagement, and pipeline management. Role Overview This role is ideal for individuals seeking deep exposure to the startup, venture capital, and innovation ecosystem while working closely with founders, institutional partners, and investment opportunities. The Venture Analyst will play a key role in evaluating inbound startup opportunities, conducting research, managing ecosystem pipelines, and supporting strategic initiatives across the MeritX platform. Key Responsibilities Startup Screening & Evaluation Review startup decks, business plans, and fundraising materials Conduct first-level assessments of startups across sectors and stages Evaluate market opportunity, business model, traction, team, and investment readiness Prepare concise investment and opportunity summaries for internal review Pipeline & Ecosystem Management Manage startup pipelines originating from incubators, accelerators, universities, and ecosystem partners Track founder interactions, follow-ups, and engagement across the ecosystem Maintain internal databases, CRM systems, and opportunity trackers Coordinate information requests and data collection from founders Research & Analysis Conduct market, sector, competitive, and ecosystem research Track emerging trends across startups, venture capital, innovation, and technology Develop analytical briefs, reports, and ecosystem insights Strategic & Operational Support Assist with founder readiness and fundraising initiatives Support ecosystem programs, strategic partnerships, events,
