About the company: Chess Gaja, founded by Grandmaster Priyadharshan Kannappan, is a global online chess academy with students from 20+ countries. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This is a hybrid/remote role, and we prefer candidates around Madurai. (Anyone can apply, though!) About the role: This is a full-time, early-career position ideal for candidates with 2 years of relevant experience in content creation, social media handling, and basic design/video editing. You'll play a key role in executing our digital presence across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook. If you are a fresher, you can apply as well and the role title would be Social Media Associate with a lower salary range. Responsibility Schedule and publish posts across social platforms as per the content calendar Design thumbnails, banners, and post creatives using templates or design tools Edit short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels) using provided tools Coordinate with the content team to execute daily and weekly content plans Write or fine-tune short captions and post descriptions aligned with brand tone Track basic performance metrics (likes, views, reach) and report weekly updates Ensure all posts are error-free, brand-aligned, and published on time Stay updated on social trends and suggest content improvements Requirements Working knowledge of tools like Canva, PhotoShop, Ilustrator and basic video editors Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn publishing tools Ability to follow a content calendar and meet deadlines consistently Strong organizational skills and attention to formatting and visual quality Confidence in using Google Sheets, Trello, or similar collaboration tools A growth mindset and the ability to take constructive feedback A proactive and creative professional who understands social media dynamics Strong attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple tasks independently Basic d
