Wecofy is hiring for Short Form Video Editor About the Company Wecofy is seeking a highly creative Short Form Video Editor to transform long-form content such as podcasts, interviews, webinars, and YouTube videos into engaging, high-retention short-form content for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You will be instrumental in maximizing audience retention, engagement, and watch time across client brands, maintaining a consistent and professional editing style. Responsibilities Edit 6+ short-form videos daily from various long-form content sources. Develop captivating hooks within the first 3 seconds of each video. Implement animated captions with precise timing. Incorporate appropriate transitions, zooms, B-roll, emojis, graphics, and sound effects. Ensure platform-specific formatting for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Adhere strictly to brand guidelines and editing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Meet daily deadlines while upholding high-quality video production standards. Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and Client Success team. Provide editing assistance for Wecofy's in-house brands as capacity allows. Around 2-3 Short form videos per day or equivalent. Requirements 1-3 years of proven experience in editing short-form content. A strong portfolio showcasing Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, or YouTube Shorts. Excellent storytelling abilities and a keen sense of pacing. Profound understanding of current short-form content trends. Experience in editing podcasts, interviews, talking-head videos, and educational content. Demonstrated ability to create attention-grabbing edits that enhance viewer retention. Strong grasp of typography, motion graphics, and visual hierarchy. Ability to work independently and consistently meet daily deadlines. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and CapCut (Desktop). Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Figma, Canva, DaVinci Resolve, Frame.io, Googl
