About Education Today: Education Today is a leading education media platform covering education news, school leadership, rankings, events, interviews, industry insights, and developments across the Indian education sector. We are looking for an SEO Executive who can improve the organic visibility of Education Today's digital platforms and help grow website traffic through strong on-page, technical, and content SEO practices. Key Responsibilities: Conduct keyword research for education news, schools, rankings, events, admissions, leadership interviews, and other relevant topics. Optimise website pages, articles, news stories, and landing pages for search engines. Write and optimise SEO titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt text, and internal links. Work closely with the editorial/content team to identify high-potential topics and keywords. Improve the SEO performance of existing articles by updating content, keywords, internal links, and metadata. Monitor website performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks, CTR, and conversions. Identify indexing, crawling, broken link, duplicate content, sitemap, and other technical SEO issues. Assist with technical SEO improvements in coordination with the website/development team. Develop internal linking strategies across news articles, rankings, events, magazines, and other Education Today sections. Conduct competitor SEO analysis and identify content opportunities. Support backlink-building and off-page SEO activities. Optimise website content for Google Discover and news-related search opportunities where applicable. Monitor SEO trends and Google algorithm updates. Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports with clear recommendations. Skills Required: Good understanding of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO and Technical SEO. Strong knowledge of keyword research and search intent. Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analy
