About this role
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-Insurance (Industry Solution for Insurance) Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP solutions for the insurance industry. The consultant will work with business and technical teams to understand insurance business requirements, configure SAP IS-Insurance solutions, support integrations, resolve functional issues, and contribute to end-to-end solution delivery. Key Responsibilities: Work on implementation, enhancement, rollout, upgrade, and support activities related to SAP IS-Insurance. Understand insurance business processes and translate business requirements into SAP solutions. Perform functional analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and documentation. Support insurance processes such as policy administration, premium processing, claims, collections and disbursements, commissions, and insurance-related financial processes, depending on project scope. Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, interfaces, reports, and developments. Work closely with ABAP, integration, Basis, security, and other functional teams. Support integration between SAP IS-Insurance and SAP/non-SAP applications. Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and provide appropriate solutions. Support data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities. Participate in workshops with business users and other project stakeholders. Prepare and maintain functional and technical process documentation. Follow SAP implementation methodologies, development standards, and change-management processes. Required Skills and Experience: Hands-on experience with SAP IS-Insurance / SAP Insurance solutions.
