Responsibilities: Plan, supervise, and manage furniture production processes to ensure timely and quality output. Review design drawings and specifications to ensure feasibility and accuracy for manufacturing. Coordinate with design and QA teams to address production issues, implement design changes, and maintain standards. Optimize production processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal waste. Monitor the workflow on the shop floor, allocate manpower, and ensure adherence to production schedules. Ensure proper handling of materials (wood, veneer, laminates, upholstery, hardware) and maintain inventory control. Implement lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with safety standards, workplace hygiene, and company policies. Supervise prototype development, custom furniture, and large-scale hospitality projects. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and performance metrics. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Furniture Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Interior Design (Production focus). 0-2 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs, or case goods production. Strong knowledge of woodworking processes: cutting, joining, laminating, veneering, finishing, and upholstery.
