Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineer (Fresher) to join our IT Infrastructure team. The candidate will assist in managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting network systems to ensure secure and uninterrupted connectivity across the organisation. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about networking technologies and eager to build a career in IT infrastructure and network security. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity-related issues. Support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity operations. Help maintain network security, access control, and user connectivity. Configure IP addressing, VLANs, and basic routing/switching tasks. Respond to network support tickets and provide technical assistance to users. Maintain network documentation, asset inventory, and configuration records. Coordinate with senior engineers during network upgrades and implementations. Ensure network uptime, stability, and performance standards are maintained. Required Skills: Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, subnetting, and routing. Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewall concepts. Knowledge of Windows and Linux networking fundamentals. Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related field. Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent will be an added advantage. Preferred Qualities: Passion for learning networking technologies and tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic awareness of cybersecurity and network security practices.
