Sourcing & Vendor Development Intern Location: Faridabad + Delhi NCR Work Mode: On-site / Field Work Duration: 3–6 months Stipend: ₹10,000–15,000 per month + travel reimbursement About the Role We are looking for a proactive and commercially curious Sourcing & Vendor Development Intern to join our startup and work closely with the founder. This is a hands-on role focused on finding suppliers, developing vendors and helping us build a strong sourcing network across Delhi NCR. You will not be limited to desk research. The role will involve speaking with suppliers, visiting markets and industrial areas, collecting samples and quotations, comparing vendors, and helping us identify the right partners for our business. What You Will Do • Research and identify manufacturers, suppliers and vendors across Delhi NCR • Visit markets, industrial areas and supplier locations when required • Reach out to potential suppliers through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, IndiaMART and other channels • Collect and compare quotations, samples, MOQs, lead times and payment terms • Evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, reliability and manufacturing capabilities • Build and maintain a structured database of suppliers and vendors • Develop relationships with new suppliers and follow up regularly • Assist in basic price and commercial negotiations • Source alternative suppliers for existing products/components/materials • Coordinate sample procurement and supplier follow-ups • Help identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving opportunities • Maintain clear records of supplier conversations, quotations and samples • Work directly with the founder on sourcing and vendor-development projects What We're Looking For • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Comfortable speaking to new people and making supplier calls • Willingness to travel within Delhi NCR for supplier visits • Good research and problem-solving ability • Comfortable using Excel / Google Sheets • Commercial curi
