About this role
Responsibilities: Cloud Access Control Engineering: Program and provision multi-door controllers, power supplies, relay modules, and reader interface boards. Execute advanced access control logic: time zone rules, anti-passback, threat level management, auxiliary I/O triggering, and hardware-level troubleshooting. Intrusion Logic & Hub Commissioning: Configure security hubs, smart control panels, wireless expansion modules, and peripheral sensor arrays. Program system partitions, zone attributes, entry/exit delay logic, and event signal transmission protocols. VMS & Network Video Engineering: Integrate multi-vendor IP cameras into enterprise Video Management Systems (VMS). Configure network streams (ONVIF compliance, RTSP URL generation, sub-streams, codec optimization: H.264/H.265, bitrates, and GOP structures) to balance image quality with bandwidth and storage limits. Architectural Blueprint Analysis & Logical Mapping: Analyze architectural blueprints, floor plans, and riser diagrams to establish accurate device positioning and structured spatial naming conventions across platforms. Ensure logical system topology strictly aligns with physical site geometry for seamless operator monitoring and audit logging. Field Engineering Support & Advanced Troubleshooting: Act as the L2 remote support lead for field installation technicians during active site deployments. Perform advanced network diagnostics (IP allocation, subnet routing, port forwarding, Wi-Fi signal strength analysis) and end-to-end device validation prior to system sign-off. Candidate Technical Requirements: Core Skills & Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated proficiency in IP Access Control, Enterprise VMS architectures, and smart intrusion systems. Solid understanding of Networking Fundamentals: Static/DHCP IP configurations, VLANs, NAT, local subnets, RTSP, and TCP/UDP communication.
