About the Role: As a Junior Video Editor, you will support the video production team by assisting in video editing, motion graphics, asset organization, and post-production workflows. Working closely with the Senior Video Editor, you will help create engaging visual content while developing your skills in motion graphics, animation, and video production. Responsibilities: Source and organize visual elements and assets based on the content script and creative guidelines. Organize media files, perform meta-logging, and maintain a structured project file system. Collaborate with Senior Video Editors to develop creative concepts and visual styles. Stay updated with the latest video production and content trends. Create short-form and long-form videos, including news and informational content. Edit promotional videos for social media platforms such as Reels and Shorts. Assist in re-editing long-form videos for multilingual projects. Support sound design, audio editing, mixing, and mastering under the guidance of the Senior Video Editor. Assist in rendering and publishing videos. Seek feedback and continuously improve editing skills. Support video production and post-production activities as required. Requirements: 2-3 years of experience in video editing within a video production agency or a similar environment. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (mandatory). Familiarity with Canva and AI-powered creative tools. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Audition. Experience creating motion graphics, infographics, 2D and 2.5D animations, visual compositing, and 3D camera techniques using After Effects. Strong skills in video editing, color correction, audio editing, synchronization, mixing, and mastering using Adobe Premiere Pro. Basic design skills relevant to video production workflows.
