About the Company: Makia Capital is a Venture fund that identifies, advises and invests in equity instruments of select companies with potential to be the leader in their respective sectors. With an in-house team of advisors and mentors, Makia Capital develops tailored business strategies and guides these companies towards public listing, either through the SME platform or a main-board IPO. Responsibilities: Identify and engage with promising businesses that align with Makia Capital's strategic investment focus. Perform initial screenings of companies, evaluating factors such as revenue, profitability, ownership structure, funding history, and other relevant investment eligibility criteria. Conduct in-depth research on companies, their promoters, and key decision-makers. Enhance company databases with essential financial information, management specifics, contact details, and pertinent market data. Efficiently manage the Founder's calendar, including meeting scheduling, follow-ups, and overall schedule coordination. Facilitate and coordinate discussions with founders, promoters, investors, and other vital stakeholders. Maintain meticulously organised trackers for prospective investments, scheduled meetings, and subsequent follow-up actions. Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel and robust data analysis capabilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication proficiency. Strong confidence in initiating contact with founders, promoters, and senior business leaders. Profound business acumen, coupled with the ability to critically assess business models, industry dynamics, and commercial potential. Proven capability to evaluate companies based on predefined investment criteria. A proactive, ownership-driven, and execution-focused approach to all tasks.
