Full Stack Engineer at Helpstir

Helpstir is hiring for Full Stack Engineer: About the Company: Helpstir is India's first AI-powered, location-based philanthropy-tech platform. It connects people who need help with verified NGOs, CSR funders and HNI funders. People who use the platform are called HELPSTiRs. Responsibilities: Build responsive React and TypeScript frontends that work with REST APIs and WebSockets. Write async APIs in Python using FastAPI, with clear separation between application layers. Move reports, emails, webhooks and scheduled cron work into background queues using Celery or Python-RQ on Redis. Design PostgreSQL schemas, manage Alembic migrations and tune slow queries. Package applications with Docker and Docker Compose for local and staging environments. Configure Nginx for reverse proxying, SSL and static files. Use PM2 to run Node services where needed. Requirements: You should also be comfortable with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy or SQLModel, Alembic migrations, Redis, Celery or Python-RQ, Docker and Docker Compose. You should be comfortable working on an Ubuntu or Debian Linux server. Git experience and the ability to write tests with Pytest or Jest are required. Experience with Next.js or Vite, asyncpg, connection pooling, PgBouncer, index tuning, EXPLAIN ANALYZE, task retries, idempotency, dead-letter queues, rate limiting, Flower, multi-stage Dockerfiles, Nginx WebSocket upgrade headers, gzip, PM2, log rotation, Playwright, GitHub Actions CI/CD, RBAC or CORS is useful.
