Requirements: Not limited to but preferably from a computer science background Access to a computer or laptop and a good internet connection Passionate about coding, reading, and indigenous peoples Proven work experience as a Front-end developer Hands-on experience with markup languages Experience with JavaScript, CSS, React, Django, and jQuery Familiarity with browser testing and debugging In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment) Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and others Familiar with server-side languages such as Python or Ruby Familiarity with database technology such as AWS, Mongo Good verbal communication skills Good problem-solving skills Attention to detail Responsibilities of the Intern: Work with our CTO to define a technical product roadmap Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages Optimize applications for maximum speed Design mobile-based features Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies Participate in weekly calls with the entire organization You will learn: Project management, autonomy, research management Strategy implementation and performance measurement Following a technical roadmap to create practical applications This is a paid position subject to skills and performance. In addition to practical skills and valuable life experience, you will also receive a letter of recommendation.
