About this role
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quality Control (QC) Professional to conduct quality inspections and assurance activities at garment manufacturing facilities in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in apparel quality control, fabric inspection, garment testing, print quality evaluation, and final inspection processes. The engagement will be on a freelance/per-visit basis, requiring periodic factory visits and submission of detailed inspection reports. Responsibilities of the Candidate: Conduct in-line and final garment inspections as per industry standards. Perform fabric inspection and identify defects related to weaving, knitting, dyeing, and finishing. Carry out garment testing and final inspections following AQL 4.0 standards. Perform 100% piece checking wherever required. Identify and classify defects based on severity and quality standards. Verify garment measurements, stitching quality, finishing quality, trims, labels, and packing standards. Inspect print quality for consistency, color accuracy, placement, adhesion, and appearance. Review print-related defects and recommend corrective actions. Possess working knowledge of print recipes, chemicals, colors, inks, and solvents used in garment printing processes. Document inspection findings accurately. Coordinate with factory teams regarding quality issues and corrective measures. Monitor corrective actions and verify implementation during subsequent visits. Requirements: Minimum experience in Garment Industry Quality Control (QC) and/or Quality Assurance (QA). Prior experience as Line QC, Inline QC, End-Line QC, or QA Executive in apparel manufacturing. Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and quality standards. Hands-on experience in fabric inspection and garment testing.
