About this role
Roles: We are looking for a creative, organised, and detail-oriented Fashion Designer, Merchandising & Production Coordinator to manage the complete product lifecycle, from concept development and design to sourcing, production coordination, quality control, and final delivery. This is a founding product role with significant ownership and responsibility. You will play a critical role in shaping Figure Fit's product identity, translating brand vision into commercially viable collections while maintaining exceptional quality and execution standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong fashion design knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work closely with vendors, suppliers, pattern masters, and production teams to ensure smooth execution across all stages of product development. Responsibility Fashion Design & Product Development Research fashion trends, fabrics, colours, silhouettes, and consumer preferences. Develop distinctive and premium women's wear concepts aligned with brand positioning. Create sketches, mood boards, design presentations, and technical specifications. Develop garment concepts, design sheets, and product development documentation. Assist in sample development, fittings, and design refinements. Coordinate with pattern masters, sampling units, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and quality execution. Merchandising & Sourcing Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and other materials from relevant vendors and suppliers. Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, procurement, and material approvals. Prepare product costing and maintain merchandising records. Track sampling, approvals, sourcing timelines, and production schedules. Ensure product quality standards are maintained throughout the development process. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners.
