We are extremely glad to introduce Olcademy, a young e-learning startup that is growing aggressively with a mission to drive the e-learning revolution in our country. We have attracted interns from all over the country's premier institutions such as IIT, NIT, IIMs. BITS, NMIMS and others to build a team of 100+ members currently working in different domains to bring the idea to shape. Responsibilities of the Candidate: Seek to build in security during the development stages of software systems, networks and data centres looking for vulnerabilities and risks in hardware and software. Find the best way to secure the IT infrastructure of an organisation Build firewalls into network infrastructures constantly monitoring for attacks and intrusions when the cyber security specialist finds a potential threat or attempted breach, closing off the security vulnerability Identify the perpetrator and liaise with the police if necessary, add new software to security files, perform security tests on data processing systems and keep virus protection systems up to date Requirements: Strong IT skills and knowledge including hardware, software and networks meticulous attention to detail Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems A forensic approach to challenges, a deep understanding of how hackers work and the ability to keep up with the fast pace of change in the criminal cyber-underworld ability to seek out vulnerabilities in IT infrastructures Good in computer networking Knowledge of Languages i.e., Python, PHP and JavaScript, Linux, Unix, Bash and PowerShell Understand web application's architecture and HTTP/ HTTPS communication computer programming, computer science, information science, computer Engineering (Completed or pursuing)
