Role brief Management Trainee programme is the route into general management at Polycab. You join at Manager grade , you are given real work in your first month, and you are confirmed as Senior Manager at six months . MTs are hired to become the business unit leaders, function heads and product owners of the next decade. Where you could be placed We hire MTs across the business, and your function is agreed before you join. Last year's cohort went into: Sales and channel - Institutional Sales, FMEG Sales, Influencer Management Corporate functions - Strategy & Analytics, Exports, Marketing & Communications, HR, Digital You will be based at our corporate office in Mumbai or Vadodara or at a business unit location, depending on your function. Some roles involve significant travel and time in the market; if you are placed in a sales or channel function, expect to spend real time with distributors, retailers and customers rather than only in an office.
