About Srijan: Srijan is the annual socio-cultural festival of the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. Organized every year in February, Srijan is one of the biggest festivals in Eastern India. The festival is embarked by a footfall of more than 30,000 students from more than 100 institutions across the country. Formerly known as Saturnalia, the festival was first conducted in 1977. Srijan conducts a plethora of events encompassing various domains like music, drama, dance, fine arts, quizzing, MUN, and others contested amongst the best in the country. The festival is a flamboyant platform for students to gain exposure and explore the diverse talents of today's youth. The festival has had the privilege of hosting Star Nights, rock concerts, and EDM Nights by both Indian and foreign artists. Srijan is a splendid brew offun, knowledge, excitement, and ecstasy that brings alive the magnificent campus of IIT(ISM) Dhanbad. Who is a Srijan Campus Ambassador? Campus Ambassadors are the key players in IIT (ISM) Dhanbad's Srijan capacity building and youth outreach program. With the insight of bringing out the essence of an authentic leader within you. Responsibilities of the Candidate: The campus ambassador program was undertaken by Srijan, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad 2023 chiefly aims to encourage participation from students spread all over the country in various colleges. The campus ambassador is an accredited representative of Srijan in his/her institute and is the cardinal link between the two. As a campus ambassador you shall be a correspondent of Srijan and shall work to ensure the maximum number of participants at Srijan from your college.
