Business Development Executive at Falka

About the Role We are looking for a Business Development Executive to generate new business and build long-term client relationships within the hospitality industry. The person will manage the sales process from prospecting and initial conversations through proposal, closure, and payment follow-up. Once a project is confirmed, its execution will be handed over to the production team. Key Responsibilities Identify and approach hotels, resorts, hotel groups, hospitality agencies, and other relevant prospects. Generate opportunities through company-provided leads, independent research, email, LinkedIn, networking, and industry events. Understand client requirements and recommend suitable photography and film services. Conduct meetings and independently prepare proposals, pitch decks, and commercial presentations. Recommend custom pricing for founder approval and negotiate approved commercial terms. Close projects, coordinate advance payments, and hand confirmed work over to the production team. Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain relationships for repeat business. Keep the CRM updated and share weekly pipeline updates and monthly revenue forecasts. Candidate Requirements Two to four years of relevant business-development or B2B sales experience. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, communications, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred. Strong written and verbal communication in English and Hindi. Good prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to create proposals, pitch decks, and commercial presentations independently. Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working remotely. Prior CRM experience preferred. Willingness to travel occasionally for important meetings and events. Experience in photography, filmmaking, production, hospitality, advertising, luxury or travel, will be valuable.
