About this role
Role Overview We are seeking highly persuasive and target-driven Academic Counselors to guide prospective students through their distance education options. You will act as the primary bridge between our institution and potential students, turning both generated interest and raw data into successful enrollments. Key Responsibilities Lead Conversion: Engage with both hot (inbound inquiries) and cold (database) leads via phone, WhatsApp, and email to pitch relevant higher education programs. Needs Analysis: Understand student career goals, academic backgrounds, and financial constraints to recommend the best-fitting distance education courses. Objection Handling: Confidently address concerns regarding course validity, fees, exam formats, and time commitments. Pipeline Management: Maintain detailed records of student interactions, follow-ups, and enrollment statuses using our CRM/automation tools. Target Achievement: Meet and exceed daily call metrics and monthly enrollment targets. Requirements Proven experience in tele-sales, academic counseling, or a target-driven B2C sales role. Fluency in Hindi and English with excellent active listening skills. High resilience and the ability to maintain energy when navigating cold calls. Familiarity with distance learning formats and basic lead management software.
